Trauma Nurse
The facility's emergency department is seeking an experienced trauma nurse to join its team on a 13-week contract.
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Schedule: Every other weekend (36 weeks of work within the contract period)
- Location: Hartford, CT
- Start Date: September 28, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma setting
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced trauma environment, managing acutely injured patients from arrival through stabilization and treatment. Your strong clinical assessment skills, trauma protocols knowledge, and ability to remain calm under pressure will be essential.
Onboarding Requirements
Standard health screenings (vaccines, TB testing, drug screen), background check, education verification, and facility-specific competency assessments will be completed during onboarding.
