Telemetry Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced telemetry nurse to join the nursing team for a 13-week contract assignment beginning September 28, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (AM shift)
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Guaranteed hours throughout the contract
Role & Responsibilities
You will provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Responsibilities include:
- Continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Patient assessments and vital sign documentation
- Medication administration and patient education
- Collaboration with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support for patients undergoing diagnostic procedures or cardiac interventions
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
