Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support a busy operating room. You'll work across multiple specialties including orthopedic, neuro, and vascular procedures, requiring strong foundational knowledge and adaptability.

Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: Day (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts; times negotiable)
• Call Rotation: Approximately every 5th weekend, plus 1–2 calls per week (30-minute response time required)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 12, 2026

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• BLS certification required
• CST preferred but not required
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple surgical specialties (orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and general surgery)
• Strong critical thinking skills and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation
• Minimal requested time off preferred for priority consideration

• The facility reserves the right to adjust up to 36 hours per 13-week contract based on patient census and staffing needs
• Call volume may increase based on department needs and staffing changes
