Medical Assistant – Vaccine Clinic
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical Assistant to support its occupational health and wellness clinic. You'll administer flu vaccines to staff, provide health education, and perform routine biometric measurements in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Position Details
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Contract Duration: 4 weeks
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 biweekly
- Float Required: No
- Certifications Required: BLS and valid MA license
Key Responsibilities
- Administer flu vaccines to staff members
- Educate staff about flu prevention and seasonal wellness
- Measure and record biometric data (blood pressure, temperature)
- Discuss wellness plans and preventive health strategies
- Provide excellent customer service in a clinic setting
Required Qualifications
- Valid MA license (must be current at time of submission)
- Proven experience administering vaccines
- Experience with IM injections
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional, pleasant demeanor
