Medical Assistant – Flu Vaccine Clinic
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical Assistant to administer flu vaccines and support wellness initiatives in the staff clinic. This is a 4-week contract with a firm end date of October 31st, working Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Requirements
- Current MA license (required at time of submission)
- BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience administering vaccines, particularly IM injections
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Administer flu vaccines to staff
- Measure and record biometric data (blood pressure, temperature)
- Educate staff on flu prevention and seasonal wellness practices
- Provide information about available wellness plans
- Deliver care with a pleasant, professional demeanor
Contract Details
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
- Duration: 4 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days
- No float required
