Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN — Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care on the night shift in a fast-paced, monitored environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Guaranteed 36 hours weekly
- Contract duration: 88 weeks
Clinical Scope
You'll care for medical-surgical patients on telemetry monitoring, managing acute and post-procedure cases. This role requires strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to respond to changing patient conditions.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- BLS certification (ARC or AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of med-surg/telemetry experience
- Proficiency with telemetry systems and electronic health records
- Travel nursing experience required
- Flu vaccination for 2024/2025 required prior to start
- Willingness to complete a telemetry competency assessment during orientation
