Outpatient IV Therapy Specialist – Oncology
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced IV therapy nurse for its outpatient oncology program. You'll work in a structured, predictable outpatient environment managing infusion therapy and vascular access for cancer patients.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Insert and maintain peripheral IV lines and central venous catheters
- Place and manage PICC lines
- Administer outpatient IV therapy and chemotherapy infusions
- Monitor patients for complications and adverse reactions
- Document care and communicate with the oncology care team
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (state-specific)
- Current certification in IV therapy or equivalent clinical experience
- Oncology nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency with venous access devices and infusion protocols

Consistent day shifts in a focused outpatient setting. You'll work with established protocols and collaborate closely with oncologists and infusion specialists. Patient population includes active cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and supportive care.
