Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift

Location: Asheville, NC

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Role

The facility's Respiratory Services department is seeking an experienced RRT to join the night shift team supporting adult critical care units and specialty services including neonatal and pediatric care. You'll manage a patient census of 10–25, delivering ventilator management, non-invasive respiratory support, and high-flow oxygen therapy across multiple ICU and floor settings.

Clinical Scope

Work with patients requiring mechanical ventilation, weaning protocols, transport ventilation, and advanced non-invasive modalities. You'll float throughout all critical care units and floors, bringing flexibility and broad clinical exposure.

Required Qualifications

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications

Preferred

• NRP certification

• Varying weekend schedule (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
