13-Week Contract | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week
This Mother Baby unit operates with 34 private couplet rooms and a collaborative nursing team across both day and night shifts. The unit delivers comprehensive postpartum and newborn care in a Magnet-designated environment known for clinical excellence.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour shifts available across days and nights
- Weekends required; no call shifts
Clinical Scope
- Postpartum couplet care including newborn assessment and education
- Management of patients on Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery
- Circumcision procedures
- Phototherapy (bilirubin blanket/light management)
- Float support to L&D and NICU as helping hands
Required Qualifications
- Prior Mother Baby / Postpartum RN experience — mandatory
- BLS and NRP certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel nursing experience
- STABLE certification
- Experience with Magnesium Sulfate management
