Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assist for a 13-week contract assignment in Asheville, NC.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 06:45 AM – 5:15 PM, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
Role Details
You'll provide first assist support in the operating room, working alongside surgeons and surgical teams across a range of procedures. This role requires active participation in case preparation, hemostasis, retraction, and closure assistance.
Requirements
- Current CSFA (Certified Surgical First Assist) certification required
- Valid state license
- Strong communication and ability to anticipate surgeon needs
- Experience in a fast-paced OR environment
