Emergency Department Nurse

Shift & Schedule

Evening to night: 18:45–07:15 (36 guaranteed hours/week)

Every other weekend required. Must be flexible to float within all ED sections.

About the Role

Join a busy, high-volume emergency department serving a diverse, multicultural community.Clinical Environment

The facility is a regional referral center for Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke, and pediatric services. The ED handles approximately 100,000 visits annually and is staffed with techs, unit clerks, and cardiac monitoring support. You'll work alongside experienced nurses known for strong teamwork and collaborative problem-solving.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years as a nurse; at least 1 year in an ED setting
• Certifications required before start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC within 90 days of hire
• Previous Level II trauma or comprehensive stroke center experience preferred
