Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Certified Surgical First Assistant for a 13-week contract in the operating room. This is a day shift role (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with call responsibilities.
About the Role
What You'll Bring
- Current Virginia license
- Required: Robotic surgical experience, orthopedic surgery experience, and neuro/spine experience
- Ability to work as a collaborative team member
- Availability for call rotation (average 2 shifts per week, including weekday nights and weekends)
Schedule & Expectations
- Hours: 36 guaranteed per week, 4×10 day shift
- Call: Approximately 2 call shifts weekly (weekday nights and weekend coverage)
- No float requirement
- Hospital-provided scrubs
