Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Cath Lab/IR RN for a 13-week contract in Augusta, GA. This is a Monday–Friday day shift role (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with on-call availability. Minimal callback burden means predictable time off.

About the Unit

The catheterization lab operates 2 labs and 5 patient bays, supported by a dedicated team of RNs and RCISs. You'll provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for cardiac patients, including STEMI interventions (approximately 3 per month). The unit maintains an optimal staffing model with strong technical and nursing support.

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Previous cath lab or interventional radiology experience
• Proficiency in cardiac patient care across the procedure continuum

What to Expect

• Scheduled hours: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• On-call availability with minimal callback frequency
• Royal blue scrubs
• Collaborative team environment with experienced staff
