Med-Surg/Tele Nurse – 13-Week Contract
The Role
Schedule & Logistics
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36-hour guarantee)
- Days Off: Every other weekend
- Float Requirement: You'll float to other med-surg units as needed
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Orientation Dates: October 12 or October 26, 2026
- Location: Sioux City, IA
Requirements
- 1.5+ years of med-surg or telemetry nursing experience
- Current Iowa nursing license (or compact state license)
- Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military also accepted)
- Active NIHSS certification
- Demonstrated proficiency with Heparin administration
- Supervisory reference form (completed within two years)
- Valid driver's license
- Must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license address)
