Emergency Department Nursing Position
Position Details
- Location: Wichita, KS
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: Every other weekend; no call required
- Contract Duration: 16 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Dress Code: Ceiling blue scrubs
About the Role
You'll work in the facility's emergency department, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. Float flexibility to like units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita is expected.
Credentials & Requirements
Before you start, you'll need to complete the following:
- Current RN license (verified through Nursys)
- Current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications
- Two professional references
- Skills checklist submission
- Ascension profile completion

What We're Looking For
Emergency nursing experience is preferred. You should be comfortable with a dynamic patient population, capable of prioritizing multiple patients, and ready to work collaboratively with your team.
