Registered Nurse – Respiratory / Medical-Surgical | Nights | Zanesville, OH
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 hours/week
Start Date: October 19th
This travel RN position is based primarily on a Respiratory unit that manages patients admitted with respiratory illness, including COVID-19. The nurse may also float to various Medical-Surgical units as needed, including:
- Wound Care
- Stroke
- Oncology
- Cardiac
- Observation
- ED/Med-Surg boarders
Schedule & Expectations
- Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Facility may cancel up to 36 hours over the 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of current, recent Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry — competency is assessed on day one
- Demonstrated EMR proficiency is required prior to start; candidates without verified proficiency will not be considered
Important Notes
- October 19th is the only available start date for candidates who have not worked at this facility within the past 9 months
- All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO added after confirmation cannot be guaranteed
