Progressive Care Unit – RN
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: June 29, 2026
About the Role
The facility's Progressive Care Unit serves patients requiring close monitoring and skilled nursing care. You'll work with a collaborative team managing high-acuity patients, including those with neuro and trauma diagnoses.
Clinical Scope
Your typical responsibilities include:
- Neuro and spinal assessments
- Chest tube and PCA pump management
- C-collar placement and TLSO brace application
- Lumbar drain and feeding tube care
- IV infusions and blood transfusions
- Patient monitoring and vital sign trending
Requirements
- Current Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience: Neuro and Trauma Care background required
- Schedule: Every other weekend; 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Floating: You may float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed
