Cardiac Catheterization Technologist – Day Shift
About the Role
Join the facility's cardiac catheterization procedural suite as a Cath Lab Technologist. You'll work in a fast-paced, supportive environment performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including structural heart cases, electrophysiology studies, pacemaker insertions, and vascular interventions. This role values professionalism, respect, and clinical excellence.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 4x10-hour days (07:00 – 17:30)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Weekend Coverage: 1 weekend per month (Friday–Monday)
- Call: 4–6 calls per week during weekdays
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization experience
- ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R), and California Fluoroscopy Permit required
- Current California license
- Proficiency with cardiac cath procedures: STEMI calls, structural heart, vascular IR, and EP cases
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, angiography, and vascular interventions
Preferred Certifications
- RCIS
- ARRT (CI)
What You'll Do
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Support EP studies and device insertions
- Prepare equipment and maintain sterile technique
- Monitor patient hemodynamics
- Float within the hospital as needed
First-time travelers welcome. Orientation includes 40 hours of training.
