Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist — Oakland, CA

Shift: Days | 4x10-Hour (07:00–17:30)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

This position is based in a high-volume cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology suite serving adult patients with diagnoses including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and peripheral arterial disease. First-time travelers are welcome.

Clinical Scope

You will perform and assist with a broad range of procedures, including:

• Cardiac and peripheral angiograms, left/right heart catheterizations, and PCIs
• STEMI response and structural heart cases (TAVR, LAA closure, ASD closure, Watchman)
• EP studies, cardiac ablation, pacemaker and AICD insertion/programming
• Vascular IR: embolization, TIPS, IVC filter placement/removal, carotid and renal stenting, thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• Drain placements, nephrostomy, biliary drainage, paracentesis, and thoracentesis

Schedule & Call

• One weekend rotation per month (Friday–Monday)
• 4–6 on-call shifts per week during weekdays
• Float within the hospital may be required

Required Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (R)
• BLS, ACLS
• California Fluoroscopy Permit
• Valid California license (required at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of experience

Preferred Certifications

• ARRT (CI)
• RCIS / CCI

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility. Two supervisor references preferred.
