Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN — Night Shift
Position Overview
Key Details
- Shift & Schedule: Night 4x12; no on-call requirement; weekend rotation required
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Block Scheduling: Maximum 3–4 consecutive shifts; no extended blocks
Clinical Requirements
- Minimum 1 year RN experience with IV start capability; first-time travel nurses welcome
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Ability to perform dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Must be willing to float to other units as needed to support staffing
Candidate Qualifications
- Active RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Local candidates within 45-mile radius preferred
- Free parking available
- Scrubs: Any color; OR/L&D/Cath Lab scrubs provided
Pre-Placement Requirements
- Lab work within 24 hours of signing (Qgold only)
- Negative 13-panel drug screen within 30 days
- Minimize time-off requests, especially during first two weeks; all RTO must be pre-approved and documented
- Expect to work some holidays
