Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a busy IR suite. You'll support a wide range of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Schedule & Staffing

• Shift: Day, 4×10 hours (07:00–17:30)
• Days: Monday–Friday with variable days off
• Call: 1 weekday and 1 weekend rotation per week, based on staffing volume
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Float Requirements: Within facility scope of practice as needed; will float to Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology with required procedures

Clinical Scope

You'll assist with a comprehensive range of procedures including angiographies (carotid, renal, mesenteric, aortic, pelvic), interventional treatments (angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, thrombolysis/thrombectomy), biliary and urologic interventions, dialysis graft work, vena cava filter placement, ablation procedures, and supportive vascular access management. Daily census averages 12–24 patients (adolescents, adults, geriatrics).

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 1 year (first-time travelers welcome)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI
• License: GA or Compact license required
• Clinical Screening: Candidates undergo clinical review for fit; those who pass advance to manager interview

Important Notes

• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract; holiday work expected per contract terms
• Full compliance required by start date; delays result in 2-week push-back
• Orientation varies by contract length
