Cardiac Cath Lab Tech — Travel Contract | Snellville, GA

Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00–17:30)

Contract Duration: 16 weeks | Start Date: October 12, 2026

About the Role

This cardiac cath lab position serves an adult and geriatric patient population with a daily caseload of 8–10 patients across a three-room suite. The lab performs diagnostic catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants. No EP studies or ablations are performed in this lab.

Required Certifications & Credentials

• BLS, ACLS
• RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV
• Georgia or Compact license (required at time of submission)

Required Clinical Skills

• Diagnostic cardiac cath and PCI experience
• Hemodynamic monitoring and rhythm interpretation; sinus node rhythms required
• EKG lead placement and vital sign acquisition
• IABP and Impella insertion/management
• Pacemaker experience preferred
• Scrub/sterile field maintenance and room circulator duties

Schedule & Commitments

• Every other weekend required
• Call: 12–15 days/month, including two weekend call shifts (Sat/Sun); late stay as needed
• Float: Within department and facility; occasional float to a sister campus possible
• Holiday coverage expected per standard policy; all holidays are pre-assigned based on assignment length
• Max RTO: 7 days per contract — all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Scrubs provided by the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Prior travel experience required
• Full onboarding compliance required within 48 hours of contract signing
