Night Shift Med/Surg/Tele RN
The facility is seeking experienced nurses for its med/surg/tele unit on the night shift (18:30–07:00).
Schedule & Flexibility
- 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour options
- 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 schedules available
- Every other weekend
- No call required
- Float to other units as needed
- Hospital may call off one shift biweekly without penalty if census decreases
Clinical Role
Requirements
- 1 year of med/surg/tele experience in a community hospital setting
- Current AHA BLS certification (NIHSS preferred)
- First-time travelers welcome
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
Onboarding
- General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
- 16 hours of non-billable orientation included
- Relias basic EKG test required within 72 hours of offer acceptance (two attempts allowed; failure results in cancellation)
- Drug test required 12–14 days prior to start
- Facial hair must be trimmed/removed for fit testing per CDC guidelines
Contract Details
- 13 weeks
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions available)
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
