Critical Care RN — Nights | Plymouth, MA | 8-Week Contract

This adult and geriatric critical care unit provides high-acuity medical and surgical care with around-the-clock intensivist coverage. The unit manages complex cases requiring advanced hemodynamic support, ventilator management, and continuous monitoring.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (excluding any on-call hours worked)

Contract Details

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Start date: January 11, 2025
• Location: Plymouth, MA

Clinical Scope

Candidates must demonstrate competency in core critical care skills, including:

• Ventilator management
• Vasoactive drip and sedation titration
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management
• Post-STEMI care

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required at time of submission)
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Evidence of relevant continuing education
• CCRN preferred

Additional Notes

• Pass/fail competency testing for Tele/ECG interpretation and medication knowledge will be administered prior to acceptance — strong clinical candidates are encouraged to apply
• All time-off requests must be submitted at time of application; no holiday time off, and no more than 3 days of RTO total
• Float not required
