Cardiac Progressive Care Nurse

Shift & Duration

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, four 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract
• 48 guaranteed hours per week

The Role

Join the cardiac progressive care unit at the facility in Wichita, KS. You'll provide direct patient care to post-cardiac intervention and high-acuity cardiac patients, monitoring telemetry, managing drips and medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. This is a fast-paced environment where clinical judgment and strong assessment skills are essential.

Requirements

• Active RN license (current verification required)
• ACLS certification
• Experience in cardiac or progressive care nursing preferred
• Ability to work nights and every other weekend

Onboarding

Standard facility onboarding includes health screening (immunizations, TB testing, drug screen), background check, education verification, and competency assessments.
