Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking a nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a fast-paced environment where you'll care for acutely ill and injured patients across all age groups and acuity levels.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, four 12-hour days per week
- Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend; no call required
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required at submission)
- ACLS certification or ability to obtain before onboarding
- Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- Two-step PPD or IGRA (QuantiFERON/T-SPOT)
- Fit testing
- Willingness to complete facility-specific competencies, EKG exam, and system training upon hire
What to Expect
You'll work in an energetic ED setting with diverse patient presentations. The facility uses electronic health records for documentation. Scrubs are ceil blue. Standard onboarding includes background check, drug screening, and education verification.
