Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking a nursing professional for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a high-acuity setting serving a diverse population, including psychiatric patients. This is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) offering 48 guaranteed hours per week.
Clinical Scope
You'll work in a busy ED environment managing patients across the acuity spectrum. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, direct care delivery, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and documentation using electronic health records.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification through Nursys required)
- ACLS certification
- Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements, including specialty exam, core competencies assessment, and EKG exam
- Current immunizations (MMR, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B)
- Negative TB screening
- Negative background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license/state ID
