Emergency Department RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the night team covering two locations in Colorado. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED environment, assessing, planning, and implementing care from admission to discharge while adhering to established clinical protocols and pathways.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week + 2 on-call shifts
- Coverage rotating between two facilities
- On-call and holiday availability required
- All time-off requests must be disclosed during the interview process
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
Required Certifications & Qualifications
- Current RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or equivalent
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred
Clinical Environment
You'll work in a trauma-focused ED managing a diverse patient population across multiple acuity levels. Experience with trauma protocols and emergency stabilization is essential.
Housing
Shared housing may be available within 30 miles at a reduced rate, based on capacity. Non-smoking, no pets, no families/partners.
