Gastrointestinal Nursing Position
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Gastrointestinal nurse for a 90-week contract in Atlanta, GA. This role offers stability and the opportunity to develop expertise in a specialized clinical area.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (AM)
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- Contract Length: 90 weeks guaranteed
Requirements
- 18 months of Medical-Surgical (MS) or Telemetry experience
- Strong Gastrointestinal (GI) experience essential
- AHA BLS certification required
- Georgia or compact state license in hand
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care in the GI unit, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, monitoring patients post-procedure, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure quality outcomes. Your experience in MS or telemetry combined with GI specialty knowledge will be central to this role.
