Inpatient Rehabilitation RN — Greensboro, NC

13-Week Contract | Days 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x12-Hour Shifts

This inpatient rehabilitation unit provides specialized care for adult and geriatric patients recovering from neurological and complex medical events, including CVA, TBI, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, and post-operative surgical cases such as aneurysm repair and stroke.

Schedule & Float

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every 3rd weekend required; holidays as needed
• Float between multiple campuses within the health system is required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Interpret laboratory results and perform medication reconciliation
• Monitor and document vital signs; manage dressing changes and aseptic/sterile procedure trays
• Perform phlebotomy, capillary testing, and specimen labeling
• Conduct telephone and coordinate pharmacy/refill requests
• Care for patients across a range of neurological diagnoses and generalized debility

• Adults and geriatrics

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience; acute care rehab experience preferred
• Travel experience required — first-time travelers not eligible
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS required
• Electronic medical record experience required
• EKG compliance exam required prior to start (two attempts allowed)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• No open background cases permitted; third-party education verification required
