Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, monitoring patients with telemetry capabilities and managing a diverse patient population.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00–19:30 | Night: 19:00–07:30)
• Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands; the facility will make every effort to honor your preference
• At least every other holiday required
• 13-week contract

Float Expectations

You may float to other Medical/Surgical units or the Emergency Department to care for similar patient populations.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent RN experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry or related specialty
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong ECG rhythm recognition skills
• One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months)

Orientation

You'll complete competency assessments during orientation, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations. An acceptable score on both is required to continue.

What We're Looking For

Reliable, detail-oriented nurses who thrive in telemetry care and adapt well to variable scheduling. Experience with charge duties is a plus.
