ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Exeter, NH

Contract: 8 weeks | Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights) | Start Date: October 20, 2026

• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
• Every third weekend required
• Float not required

Unit Overview

This community hospital ICU provides high-acuity care for critically ill adult patients. The unit manages a typical community ICU patient mix, including medical emergencies, post-surgical recovery, respiratory failure, and sepsis. Care is supported by on-site intensivists and hospitalists, with specialty services including cardiac and surgical care.

The unit also stabilizes and manages pediatric patients in early or acute illness when necessary, coordinating transfers to tertiary pediatric centers as appropriate. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, the facility manages acute stroke patients in the ICU with telestroke/teleneurology support.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation required
• Local candidates accepted

This is a focused, no-float assignment with a consistent night shift schedule — a strong fit for an experienced ICU nurse comfortable managing complex, high-acuity adult patients in a collaborative community hospital setting.
