Medical/Surgical Telemetry — Travel Nurse | Needham, MA
This 8-week contract covers a winter staffing need on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. Shifts are 12-hour rotating days and nights (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.), scheduled 3x12s with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Contract Details
- Duration: 8 weeks | Start: January 4, 2027
- Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly (excludes any on-call time worked)
- Float: Not required
- Time off: Up to 3 days approved during the contract
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- BLS (American Heart Association) — required
- ACLS — required
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
Clinical Scope
You'll care for a mixed medical/surgical telemetry population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The role involves managing patients across a range of acuities, including post-procedural recovery, cardiac and respiratory conditions, and complex medical-surgical cases.
