Med/Surg Telemetry — Travel Nurse | Needham, MA

This 8-week contract position supports winter staffing needs on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit in Needham, MA. No float requirement — you'll remain dedicated to this unit throughout your assignment.

Schedule

• Three 12-hour rotating shifts per week (days and nights)
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (excluding any on-call time worked)

Assignment Details

• Contract length: 8 weeks
• Estimated start: January 4, 2027
• Maximum of 3 days off approved during the contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation skills
• Strong familiarity with electronic health records — experience with a major EHR platform is required

Clinical Scope

The unit manages a mixed medical-surgical and telemetry patient population requiring cardiac monitoring, with a focus on acute medical conditions and post-procedural care. Candidates should be comfortable with telemetry interpretation and managing moderate-to-high acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
