Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM). This is a 13-week contract assignment.
Clinical Scope
You will deliver coordinated nursing care to patients across the full spectrum of emergency presentations. You'll assess patient conditions, analyze clinical data, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning, and delegating tasks to support staff.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- BSN preferred

- 36–48 hours per week
