Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated care in a fast-paced emergency department. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, compassionate patient outcomes.

Shift & Duration

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• 36–48 guaranteed hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data; identify care needs and diagnoses
• Develop individualized care plans and monitor progress toward outcomes
• Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately
• Coordinate care delivery with physicians, specialists, and support services
• Provide patient and family education and health information
• Participate in discharge planning and care transitions
• Maintain a safe, healing environment

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (state of practice)
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
• Minimum two years recent acute care nursing experience
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
