RN – Medical/Surgical Unit
Location: Lodi, CA
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12.5-hour days)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: October 19, 2026
About the Role
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care on a medical/surgical unit, managing a patient assignment and supervising various levels of nursing staff. This role requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration across disciplines, and the ability to lead a care team while maintaining direct patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient data; develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise and direct nursing staff activities; delegate appropriately
- Coordinate care delivery with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, healing environment and ensure continuity of care
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure (state of assignment)
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- At least 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- Must have experience with the facility's EHR system
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience

- Day shift assignment
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
