Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. You will deliver coordinated nursing care to patients across the full spectrum of acuity, supervise assigned nursing staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.
Shift & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (day shift)
- Schedule: 36–48 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
Core Responsibilities
- Assess patients, analyze clinical data, and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing team members
- Provide direct patient and family education
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care team members
- Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and manage team workflow
Requirements
- License: Current RN licensure in California
- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Certifications (Required):
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
