Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its telemetry unit. You will deliver coordinated nursing care to patients according to established standards, supervise and direct assigned nursing staff, and coordinate with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
- 13-week contract
- Holiday requests will not be approved
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum two years recent acute care experience
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
- ACLS certification from an approved vendor
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification
- Electronic health record (charting system) experience required
- BSN preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients, analyze clinical data, and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress toward clinical outcomes
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and manage team duties
