Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA

This 13-week travel contract places you in a telemetry unit in Southern California, with a night shift schedule of 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours).

Unit Overview

The telemetry unit manages cardiac monitoring patients requiring continuous assessment, coordinated care planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will deliver and supervise nursing care for an assigned patient group, utilizing critical thinking and independent clinical judgment across the full nursing process — from assessment and diagnosis through implementation, evaluation, and discharge planning.

Schedule Details

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3×12s | 36 guaranteed hours/week
• Contract: 13 weeks | Start: October 12, 2026
• Holiday RTO requests will not be approved

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (state of practice)
• BLS (approved vendor)
• ACLS (approved vendor)
• PALS (approved vendor)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
• Telemetry or cardiac monitoring background preferred
• BSN preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation required

• Supervise and delegate to assigned nursing team members
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team
• Patient and family education
• Discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
