Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA | 13-Week Contract

This telemetry position is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3×12s, 36 hours/week) at a Southern California facility serving a diverse patient population across Ventura County. Start date: October 12, 2026.

Unit Overview

The telemetry unit provides continuous cardiac monitoring and coordinated nursing care for patients requiring close clinical oversight. Nurses are expected to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective outcomes. Discharge planning and patient/family education are key components of the role.

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours)
• 13-week contract
• Holiday RTO will not be approved

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license in California
• BLS (from an approved vendor)
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Proficiency with electronic health record charting is required
• BSN preferred

• Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing cardiac-monitored patients with varying acuity levels
