Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Shift & Schedule
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, day shift
36–48 hours per week
13-week contract
About the Role
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care in a busy emergency department, managing a diverse patient population across a range of acuities. You'll assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely care. As a charge nurse or senior clinician, you may supervise and direct nursing staff at various levels, delegate responsibilities, and coordinate care across the department. Your role includes patient and family education, participation in discharge planning, and independent clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- At least 2 years recent emergency department or acute care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification from approved vendor
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
