Cath Lab Tech — Interventional Cardiology | Saint Helena, CA

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This facility's cardiac catheterization lab manages a high-acuity mix of structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, and emergent cases. You'll work alongside cardiologists and radiologists as an integral member of a specialized invasive cardiology team.

Shift & Schedule

• Days, 5×8s, Monday–Friday
• Start time: 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM (end 3:30 PM or 4:30 PM)
• On-call: 2 days per week
• Weekend call: 1–2 weekends per month
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Clinical Scope

• Scrubbing and monitoring for structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, Impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases
• Operating C-arms, angiographic injectors, and associated patient monitoring equipment
• Assisting with administration of contrast media via catheter or direct injection
• Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs throughout procedures
• Maintaining radiation safety standards, sterile technique, and infection control protocols
• Troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on specialized cath lab equipment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cath lab experience
• ARRT-R (Radiography) — required
• California Radiologic Technology (RT) license — required
• California Fluoroscopy license — required (must obtain within 6 months of hire if not already held)
• BLS certification — required
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation — required
• Associate's degree or equivalent education/experience — preferred
