Registered Nurse – ICU
Location: Simi Valley, CA
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
About the Role
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care to ICU patients, managing complex acute conditions while supervising and directing nursing staff. This is a charge nurse position requiring strong clinical judgment, leadership, and collaborative communication across disciplines.
Your responsibilities include:
- Assessing and analyzing patient data to identify diagnoses and care needs
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Evaluating patient progress toward clinical outcomes
- Collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Delegating tasks and coordinating care delivery
- Providing patient and staff education
- Coordinating discharge planning for continuity of care
Requirements
- License: Current RN licensure in California
- Certification: Current BLS certification (required)
- Education: BSN preferred
- Experience: Minimum two years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Technical: Electronic health record experience required
