CT Technologist – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a CT Technologist to operate advanced computed tomography equipment, producing high-quality cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic interpretation. You'll also perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures in a collaborative imaging environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review
- Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
- Manage PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately
- Administer contrast materials via venipuncture as needed
- Maintain equipment through routine calibration and basic troubleshooting
- Manage inventory and supply ordering
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Assess and provide care for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric populations
- Maintain accurate medical records and billing documentation
Required Qualifications
- R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) certification
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in California
- Advanced CT certification (preferred in California; required in OR and HI)
- Current BLS certification
- Fluoroscopy license (required in California)
- Venipuncture certification
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- At least 2 years recent relevant experience
