Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist — Saint Helena, CA

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This cardiac catheterization lab position is based in the heart of Napa Valley, offering a Monday–Friday day schedule with 7 AM or 8 AM start times (ending at 3:30 or 4:30 PM). The role carries on-call expectations of approximately 2 days per week and 1–2 weekends per month, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Clinical Scope

You'll work alongside cardiologists and radiologists in a procedurally diverse cath lab, supporting both diagnostic and interventional cases. Required case experience includes:

• Structural heart procedures
• Vascular interventions
• Diagnostic catheterizations
• Impella and ECMO support
• Emergent cath cases
• Scrubbing and monitoring roles

Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting fluoroscopic and angiographic equipment, managing physiologic monitoring throughout procedures, administering contrast media via catheter or direct injection, maintaining sterile technique, and upholding radiation safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification
• Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in California
• Current California Fluoroscopy license
• BLS certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring across structural, vascular, and emergent cases
