Registered Nurse – ICU
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated, high-quality care in the ICU. You will assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluate outcomes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote safe, healing patient environments.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
- 13-week contract
- Holiday requests will not be approved
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to identify diagnoses and care needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans with specific interventions
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum two years recent acute care nursing experience
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
