- Shift: Night shift, 4×10-hour (19:30–05:30) or 4×8-hour (18:00–03:00); schedule options discussed at interview
- Schedule: Wed–Tue, 7 on / 7 off
- Weekend Shifts: Required every other weekend (18:00–06:00)

Licensure & Certifications
- Active Missouri State Pharmacy License (pending accepted if in process)
- PharmD or RPh required
- BLS preferred
Required Skills & Clinical Scope
- Anticoagulation therapy, warfarin dosing, and pharmacokinetic/renal dosing
- Clinical dosing across populations: geriatric, pediatric, neonatal, and high-alert medications
- IV preparation: antibiotic admixture, compounding, IV piggyback, sterile technique
- Pharmacotherapy management: cardiovascular, endocrine, infectious disease, pulmonary, and renal conditions
- Medication dispensing system proficiency
- Drug shortage management and cardiac dosing preferred
What to Expect on Shift
The night shift pharmacist operates independently as the sole inpatient pharmacy staff member during shift hours. Responsibilities include order verification and managing a clinical alert queue addressing pharmacokinetic and renal dosing concerns. Pharmacists are not expected to respond to code blues or rapid responses.
The facility serves a diverse patient population spanning neonates through geriatrics and is supported by interdisciplinary services including respiratory therapy, social services, and rapid response teams.

- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience required
- No locals within 60-mile radius
- Approved time off must be arranged prior to assignment start
