ICU RN – Night Shift

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts (3 x 12s): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years ICU acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification with Advanced Physical Skills Training
• Charting system experience
• Must reside at least 100 miles away

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Unit Overview

The ICU is a multidisciplinary critical care unit serving neurological, neurosurgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiac, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. You'll provide direct care to high-acuity patients using advanced monitoring and support technologies.

Clinical Scope

You'll work with ventilators, external ventricular drains, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial and central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/Tandem Heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and infusion pumps. Your role encompasses comprehensive patient care, family support, and community-focused outcomes in accordance with your licensure and certifications.
