Interventional Radiology Technologist – Cardiology
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab. You'll support diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 06:30–16:30
- 4x10 or 3x12 options
- Call: approximately 10 days/month
- No floating required
- 13-week contract, 36 guaranteed hours/week
Clinical Scope
You'll work in a combined catheterization lab and EP lab performing:
- Diagnostic and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) catheterizations
- STEMI interventions
- Pacemaker and ICD implants
- Cardiac ablations
- Watchman procedures (launching September)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years cath lab experience
- RN license and ACLS/BLS certification
- STEMI and PCI experience required
- EP experience preferred
- Strong procedural knowledge and technical proficiency
Work Environment
- 3–4 staff per patient in the procedural room; 1 staff per 2–3 patients in pre/post areas
- Technicians available in lab spaces; no unit secretaries
- Scrubs provided
